Bio:

Diana is the Head of Tertiary Education at the British Council in Colombia. Under her supervision, the British Council implements programs related with Higher Education, Skills Development and Science.

Diana studied Government and International Relations at Universidad Externado de Colombia; she has a specialization in social evaluation of projects from Universidad de los Andes, and a Masters in Public Policies and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She has more than 10 years of work experience in the education sector. She has held several top-level positions in different public entities including the Ministry of Education, the National Training Service (SENA) and the National Planning Department. Diana also worked for Carnegie Mellon University as assistant director of international programs. Her last position was as director of education of Fundación Proantioquia.

She is convinced that high quality education should not be a privilege but a right for all. Passionate about education and youth empowerment and leadership.
