with innovator and sustainability expert Manuela Guzman in which she will share her journey working as a sustainability professional in a wide-range of sectors and regions.
In this livestreamed interactive Manuela will discuss the core skills and career pathways where one can make an impact addressing one of the most critical challenges facing the planet. She will explore how she began her career in sustainability working on advancing change in Colombia in a variety of roles in the sustainability ecosystem including startups nonprofits a founder of her own company and convening cross-sectoral actors.
In addition to her strong work in sustainability and startups she has been working and living as a digital nomad and helped to grow the Nomads Giving Back community as Chief of Staff. As someone from Colombia she can also share tips for how to link a career in sustainability to being a digital nomad how to upskill and the pros and cons in this dynamic area.
Finally she has recently moved to connecting impact investors founders and professionals globally at Top Tier Impact the global ecosystem of impact and sustainability leaders
Manuela Guzman is a Business Manager who graduated from Universidad EAFIT in Medellin, Colombia. During her studies she became highly engaged in sustainability and impact believing that every job should be an impact job. She enjoys analyzing global trends and how these trends affect our current systems. She considers herself a systems thinker who believes that by changing the way we do business we can also build a more sustainable planet.
She has worked in many organizations - mostly startups - wearing many different hats: as chief of staff in marketing to community management strategy and project manager. She is also a social entrepreneur who created Blue Strategies a Sustainability Agency.
She currently works as the Head of Community at Top Tier Impact ,the global ecosystem of investors entrepreneurs and professionals focused on solving the critical issues of our time with the mission to accelerate the global adoption of impact and sustainability. During her free time Manuela is an ocean advocate and well-being enthusiast. She supports organizations and initiatives that promote conscious relations with ourselves others and our planet.
