In Episode 14 of Season 6, Janet shares how she grew up in rural Brazil, raised a daughter by herself, worked and studied full-time to be one of Latin American’s most recognized professionals in the conflict resolution space and eventually become one of the the first female peace advisors for the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund.

Janet is currently the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund Coordinator in Guinea-Bissau. She is currently busy helping create one of the first restorative justice systems financed by the UN.
