80% of hires report dissatisfaction in the work place - maybe some of this has to do with how recruiting is being done! One of the challenges in advancing social impact is matching talent to opportunity. The traditional approach to recruiting has involved posting on job boards and soliciting as many applications as possible. These inefficient and bias-prone processes are causing companies to miss out on the best talent, while jobseekers feel disempowered and frustrated. The future of recruiting is about recruiting smarter and connecting skills to the organizational needs. Imagine your next job search can be as fun and intuitive as booking a stay on Airbnb!

In our latest webinar in our Future of Work Career Series we chatted with  Paul Breloff, CEO and Co-Founder of Shortlist, a revolutionary new platform helping growing companies in India and Kenya (many in the impact sector) find and screen the right talent. Paul discussed innovations in recruiting, the core skills in demand in the social sector and tips about breaking into or advancing your career in the social sector.
