This is a must-hear episode for everyone interested in peace-building and social change.  Originally from Egypt, originally trained as a lawyer, Dr. Amr Abdalla has built an extraordinary career as a researcher, academic, teacher, trainer, story-teller and overall good human.

In Episode 14 of Season 7Dr. Amr Abdalla walks us through his journey in Egypt as a young lawyer and his move to the U.S.  A remarkable, humble, grounded and very wise account of his journey, from recent immigrant research assistant, to PhD, to Vice Rector of the University of Peace and more.

Dr. Abdalla is Professor Emeritus at the United Nations-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE).  He is also the Senior Advisor on Conflict Resolution at the Washington-based organization KARAMAH (Muslim Women Lawyers for Human Rights).
