The United Network of Young (UNOY) Peacebuilders are thrilled to share with you our newest report: ‘Mapping the Progress of Youth, Peace and Security in the EU’, successfully launched in September at the European Peacebuilding Liaison Office in Brussels.
This youth-led research report outlines the journey of Youth, Peace and Security (YPS) in the EU, illustrating how far its come in mainstreaming the YPS agenda. It proposes key policy actions to guide the EU’s successful implementation of UNSCR 2250.
On 18 September 2019, 27 representatives of European Union (EU) bodies, CSOs, and young peacebuilders gathered in Brussels for the launch of the report. The event was organised by UNOY Peacebuilders with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Cordaid, and Search for Common Ground. The EU is a key player in Youth, Peace, and Security and has made significant progress in a short space of time.
