At PCDN we were planning on launching a group career coaching option to help even more people advance careers of impact.
Then, COVID-19 happened. So here is the deal: We are opening four decades of expertise and to help you. Once a week. For free.
Join us via every week via Zoom for a highly interactive session and come with any questions, your challenges, or favorite tips on building a career of social impact. We will do our best to guide you in this time of crisis.
When: We usually meet on at Noon Eastern Standard time every Thursday for the foreseeable future as long as there interest from our community. But please note for July 16 we will be meeting at 1 pm EST. You only need to register once to participate (see below for a full Questions & Answers on this initiative.)
Focus of the Sessions: Most weeks we will pick a theme based on the feedback from our community, but we will welcome a broad range of questions. For our Session on Thursday July 16 Flynn Coleman will be our guest on the topic of Technology, Human Rights, Social Impact and Preparing for the Careers of the Future, Today. Flynn is one of the world's leading experts working at the intersection of Technology, Human Rights and Social Impact (her bio is below). She is author of the groundbreaking book A Human Algorithm on the urgency of ethically designed AI and a guidebook to reimagining life in the era of intelligent technology. Flynn was also a featured guest on a previous episode of the PCDN Social Change Career Podcast (take a listen here)
This will be a very interactive session where Flynn will offer insights on how to advance a career at the intersection of social impact, international human rights, and technology. This includes how to build skills and knowledge at the crossroads of technology, justice, and social change, and how to engage and help shape the future of society for the better. There will be substantial time for open discussion with the global PCDN Community.
