The sixth annual Global Innovation Challenge will give students of many disciplines interested in international & sustainable development the opportunity to work collaboratively to create innovative solutions for globally important problems. Through the challenge itself, and opportunities for networking, the Global Innovation Challenge will build interdisciplinary cooperation between students, policymakers, researchers and stakeholders in order to leverage global resources for international development.
The Global Innovation Challenge @ William & Mary (WMGIC) is a hack-a-thon style international development case competition open to undergraduate students. The Challenge encourages interdisciplinary collaboration between students to discuss and design innovative solutions to current global issues. All teams receive professional mentoring and the top eight teams will receive $750 each in CASH PRIZES!!
