We're looking for a Senior Communications Associate to support our communications efforts globally and within India. The ideal candidate is seeking a career aligned with poverty alleviation and social impact, and has a baseline of experience with social media and content work.
As a direct report to our US-based Director of Strategic Outreach, this role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate eager to build their marketing and communications skills in a dynamic global organization with opportunities for growth. With the startup-like atmosphere at Upaya, you will have the space to expand your knowledge, gain experience and take up initiative to drive outcomes.
The candidate should have a passion for brainstorming new ideas to engage our core audiences and improve the lives of the poorest of the poor. You will be someone who is comfortable working across cultures and time zones, super organized and ready to get things done (we love all productivity tools!), and embracing of the Upaya culture (ice-breakers and sharing pictures of our pets are a regular thing!).
