BRAVE NEW FILMS, a 501c3 non-profit, is dedicated to educating the public about social justice issues. Voter Suppression effects millions of would-be voters every year. This November, with COVID-19 still a major concern, the potential for voter suppression has increased dramatically.
Last year we produced a 40 minute documentary called SUPPRESSED: THE FIGHT TO VOTE and set up thousands of screenings across the country. We have created an updated version SUPPRESSED 2020 that contains new information including essentials around voting by mail. We are looking to hire someone who will be speaking with organizations across the country to schedule free screenings of SUPPRESSED 2020 over the next 4 months.
The person we hire should have experience in working with social justice organizations, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
How to Apply:
Submit the following to [email protected]:
Please go to our website and look at the screenings tab. Along with your resume, and a cover letter please include separately your thoughts on what steps you would take to contact organizations, and how you would encourage them to hold a screening.
