Operations and CRM Manager

As our Operations and CRM Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Sales Operations:

  • Be a linchpin between the sales and operations team to understand the needs of teams in order to manage our customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Maintain cross-team relationships to keep a proactive sense of the team’s reporting and relationship needs

Manage our Zendesk Sell CRM:

  • Own and execute on the day-to-day administration, configuration, workflow, support, maintenance and improvement of our current and future CRM platform
  • Oversee our CRM platform, recognizing opportunities for growth and leveraging it to its full potential for current and new strategic deliverables
  • Recognize and inform us on how we can improve our relationships with our customers through CRM management
  • Create systems to collect feedback on existing functionality for future enhancements and improvements and gain the know-how to weed through those to make the best decisions for the business
  • Analyze solution suitability now and in the future, including evaluating alternatives and, if relevant, managing a transition

Drive Recruiting and Hiring:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to efficiently move candidates through our hiring process
  • Consistently seek new and effective methods through which you’ll drive qualified and diverse candidates into our pipeline
  • Create a positive experience for our job candidates and hiring managers

Use Technology to Scale and Grow Operations:

  • Utilize your tech-first thinking to solve problems and scale regular work done by the operations team members

About you: 

You have the ability to deliver business-critical communications and processes on a wide variety of projects. This is an ideal position for someone who loves to automate, streamline, and identify opportunities to improve processes that will increase the efficiencies of the small and scrappy Operations team.

  • 3-5 years in political/non-profit operations, sales operations human resources and/or operations support, experience in politics or non-profit a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience with database and/or CRM systems; a plus if that includes knowledge of Zendesk Sell and Salesforce
  • Experience transitioning CRM systems
  • A tech-forward person able to think through complex problems, determine proper processes, derive solutions,  and present results to the team
  • Comfortable with detailed documentation – making sense of it and preparing it
  • Able to glean needs of stakeholders and translate that to solutions in a thoughtful way
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and professional
  • Clear communicator, written and spoken
  • Proactive team player, eager to create more effective and efficient processes and solutions
  • Scrappy and able to prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to thrive as a remote team member

Compensation and work environment:  

This is a full-time, remote position and may require occasional travel and reports to the EVP of Operations.

The Operations Manager salary range is $75,000 to $90,000, based on relevant experience, and includes these benefits:
