Call for Applications, Coventry University’s new Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Global Diversity Governance

Students can complete the full Master’s degree in 15 months, gaining accreditation for their experience and achievements so far. The course is delivered through a blend of online and face-to-face learning, and is designed to be studied around full-time work. As well as flexible, online study, students have the opportunity to attend short residential workshops in the UK where you can meet and learn from fellow professionals in similar roles from around the world.

Through our MPA, we aim to enable those who have spent time working with diverse communities to gain recognition and accreditation for their experience and progress in their careers with from a relevant, unique postgraduate qualification.

The course looks at the challenges and opportunities of diversity in some of the highest-profile places in the world, as well as the key theories, concepts and issues for the governance of diverse, multicultural societies. There is also a specific focus on the role and practice of intercultural dialogue, providing students with the practical skills to facilitate difficult conversations between very different groups of people. Each student will complete a dissertation on a particular area of interest or element of their practice, under the supervision of a designated subject expert.

Fees for 2018/19 entry are £7,350, making this MPA one of the most affordable Masters degrees available.

Dr. Craig Zelizer is the Founder of PCDN.global, which connects a global community of changemakers to the tools, community and opportunities to build careers of impact and scale change. He has strong experience in the development sector, academia and social entrepreneurship. From 2005 to 2016 he served as a professor in the Conflict Resolution program at Georgetown University (where he still teaches). He has led trainings, workshops and consultancies in over 20 countries organizations including with USIP, USAID, CRS, Rotary International and others. Craig is a recognized leader in the social sector field. He has received several awards including George Mason’s School of Conflict Analysis and Resolution’s alumni of the year award and an alumni career achievement award from Central European University. Dr. Zelizer spent two years in Hungary as Fulbright Scholar and was a Boren Fellow in Bosnia. He has published widely on peacebuilding, entrepreneurship, and innovation in higher education.
